"Over the past two years, I had the chance to experience the full spectrum of the business—from working in the store, to doing door-to-door sales, and later becoming responsible for pricing the very products I once sold. Every rotation gave me a new perspective on the business and helped me grow both professionally and personally.

After graduating from the program, I joined the "front line"—the Expansion team, where I work directly with government authorities and Vietnam's leading developers to build our shopping malls—the place where all our businesses begin.

From a biology graduate with zero background in retail, Central has shaped me into the professional I am today, and someone I am truly proud to be. "

Joining Central Retail Vietnam as one of its first five Management Associates in 2018 marked the defining moment of my career. The program provided invaluable exposure across different business functions and, more importantly, transformed my mindset. It reinforced that meaningful careers are built by creating value, solving real business challenges, and continuously learning—not by chasing titles. These principles have guided my journey to leading Centralisation, one of Central Retail Vietnam's key transformation strategies.

For future graduates, the message is simple: embrace every opportunity with curiosity, focus on making a meaningful contribution, and trust that opportunities and recognition will naturally follow.

Joining the Management Associate Program was an important starting point in my career at Central Retail in Vietnam. It allowed me to work across functions, learn from experienced leaders, and understand how teams collaborate to create value. My rotation in Thailand provided valuable exposure to a multicultural environment and an advanced retail landscape, broadening my perspective and strengthening my collaboration skills. I was also empowered to take ownership of assignments without established processes, encouraging me to solve problems proactively and build solutions from the ground up.

My advice to future Management Associates is to stay curious, embrace unfamiliar challenges, and take ownership of every opportunity. The experiences that feel most uncertain at the beginning are often the ones that contribute the most to your growth.
